A vegetarian hunter.

I’ve been an anti-hunter I’m guessing since the day I was born. I’m only 21 years old and I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 6. That’s nearly 15 years of a commitment - and it doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon.

I met my boyfriend nearly a year ago. I knew the first night he hunted deer. I loved him anyway. I was with him the two times he brought two deer down. I never saw anything bar photos.

I’ve also lost my shit at him more than once for killing something, because it’s a highly conflicting topic for me.

But now I’m changing my mind, and I’ve asked him to take me hunting. For fallow deer.

I’ve put in for my license, but for now, I’ll be unarmed.

I’m feeling good about life, y’know? 

This fulltime job is fantastic. It’s amazing. 
The IUD is in and effective.
I’ve unofficially lived with my boyfriend for over 11 months.

I’m happy.
